KuneKune Pigs

 

 

The KuneKune Is a small breed of domestic pig from New Zealand.  KuneKune are hairy with a rotund build and may bear wattles hanging from their lower jaws.  Their color ranges from black and white, to ginger, cream, gold-tip, black, brown and tricoulored.

Even though Weathered Oaks Farm has raised other types of pigs in the past, we found raising the KuneKune pigs to be more of a benefit because they are super friendly and they do not root!  Not to mention, their meat is phenomenal!
